Alexis 28, Ashton under-lyne - Previous to driving with Ric I had, for a number of years, 'given up' and to be honest began to hate driving as I thought i would never pass. I started up again and Ric not only put me at ease from day 1 but he also drove me to have confidence that I COULD drive.

This time around I actually enjoyed going on lessons and believed I could pass my test finally! Aside from the obvious good necessities you expect from a driving instructor Ric also was relaxed, friendly, funny and could have chat about absolutely anything. I never thought I would pass but with Ric on my side I did and I'm thankful for that.

Neil 38, Glossop - I had not driven for nearly 20 years having failed a driving test when I was 18.

I wasn't interested in taking lessons with instructors that practically gave lessons away - 5 lessons for £50 etc I needed an instructor that would enable me to get over my initial anxieties and provide me with quality tuition. Rick was that man!

His lessons were relaxed yet informative, fun but with a serious undertone. He inspired confidence in me and the fact that I had not driven in 20 years did not faze him at all.I had also ridden a motorbike for the previous 6 years and his Patience to enable me to get rid of my motorcycle habits (looking over my shoulder when turning left or right for example was appreciated)

Ric only enabled me to book lessons with him when he felt they were needed. On occasion I wanted a two hour lesson but Ric felt quite simply that one hour would suffice - again this honest approach instilled me with confidence and I passed my test on the 28/10/09.

I'm also pleased to say that I passed my test without a single fault and i would like to gratefully acknowledge the fact that Ric's excellent tuition enabled me to do something that I believe not many people achieve. Nice one Ric...

I would definitely recommend him and the Latics school of motoring to anyone within the Glossop, Oldham and Tameside areas. It is money well spent.
